America’s manufacturing sector is growing again, but it’s still being shackled by red tape–especially in the area of plastics production, which supports nearly a million jobs and makes up more than 26% of U.S. manufacturing.


Plastics are essential to health care, infrastructure, energy-efficient transportation and more. Thanks to American innovation, companies are now also remanufacturing, or recycling, more plastic through innovative technologies, reclaiming these valuable materials, and reducing landfill waste—while creating new jobs and businesses here at home.
